RETAIL | J. Crew Talking Tailoring & Shoes

If you haven't watched them yet you need to. J.Crew launched two short films highlighting J.Crew’s appreciation for design, quality, heritage, artistry and the people who bring J.Crew’s designs to life. The films take place in Italy, with the creation the women’s Etta shoe in the J.Crew shoe factory, as well as at the Barberis fabric house, which is one of the mills that produces fabric for J.Crew’s popular men’s Ludlow suiting.

Fall in love with the little old man tailor in this short film, "Holy Jackets".

This really takes me down memory lane when I was developing footwear. I always looked at each shoe as if they were my own children - Developing them and watching them go through every stage from production to retail floor. I also now have an even bigger crush on Jenna Lyons after watching this video, "Shiny Ponies".
